The Modern Memorials Edit: May's Top Sellers

As I mentioned in a previous post, it's hard to pick my favorite Modern Memorials urns. But I know how difficult and important this purchase is, so I thought perhaps our customers could help. The following urns and cremation jewelry were the most chosen and cherished pieces from our collection last month.

"Spirit" Handmade Teakwood Cremation Urn with Horn Inlays

The "Spirit" urn is a more recent addition to our Elements Collection. Inspired by ancient patterns that go as far back as hieroglyphics, this cremation urn is modern and warm, celebrating our past and present with great respect for those who came before us. I love that it is made from Teakwood, known for its high-quality, beautiful finish and durability.

Handcrafted Artisan Cherry Wood Cremation Urn with Walnut Top

Modern Memorials is known for "urns that don't look like urns." But sometimes, a more traditional urn is just right. This urn was handcrafted from a single piece of wood by a talented wood artisan. We like how each one is a little different, and our customers always ask for one with a bit of extra character in the wood grain.

White Mother-of-Pearl Cremation Urn

Perfecting this urn was a labor of love. We probably went through ten prototypes before introducing this urn to our collection because we were extremely picky about the quality of the mother-of-pearl. It was worth it because this urn is so unique and iridescent.

“Vivida” Italian Lacquered Wooden Keepsake Urn for Ashes

Our customers love this urn. Made from Mahagony wood with a glossy finish, the colorful tiles are joyful but a little muted. My favorite part of this urn is that you can see the beautiful wood grain through the colors. Plus, it can be engraved!

14K Gold Small Heart Pendant for Ashes (Engravable)

We had a family buy a few of these 14K Gold heart pendants with their loved one's name engraved. I happen to wear the same one, which holds a little bit of my dog Sally's fur. I get compliments on it all the time - and everyone is shocked when I tell them it is a cremation jewelry pendant.
